Background

The Institute for Sexual Wellness opened in July 2006. The treatment delivered at the Institute for Sexual Wellness is intended to reduce the likelihood of an offender to commit another sex offense.

The Institute for Sexual Wellness provides evidence-based comprehensive assessment, psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic sex offender treatment to individuals whose behaviors pose a high risk to themselves and/or others. Our clinicians have the experience and specific skills necessary to successfully address the needs of individuals with sexually abusive and other high-risk behaviors. The Institute for Sexual Wellness is headquartered in Shirley, MA.

The clinical practice offers services to individuals currently supported by the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Mental Retardation, and the Department of Corrections.
